The Big 6

Yesterday was Dexter's birthday. Technically, it was his adoption day. We got him from the Animal Shelter so we don't know when he was born, but we certainly remember when we brought him home. How could we not remember bringing home an "excitement pee-er"?! Dexter joined our little family in 2003 so the old man is now 6 years old! Boy, does time fly. I had bought a can of dog food to make a dog food "birthday cake" but yesterday was such a busy day that it just did not happen. He did get a fabulous new throwing toy (it's fabulous because I don't have to actually touch the drooly ball) and an orange squeaky stuffed toy. Overall, he was thoroughly spoiled, as we should all be on our birthdays.
