Tip Tuesday-Moving!

It's funny how if you don't post very often, Tip Tuesday comes back around rather quickly.
Well, today is a selfish plea for tips that may not really help anyone else, but you just never know. So, we're getting our house ready to put on the market. We've decided to sell our house and move to a valley that is known for it's happiness and lower real estate prices. We're currently packing up most of our belongings to show how roomy our house is, which is so much fun. But the biggest concern I have is keeping our home "show ready" for longer than five minutes and still actually have toys for the girls and sanity for me. So, tip away!

My tip- leave the house as often as possible!!! I spent a ton of time at my mom's, went to costco for lunch, and took Owen to the park all of the time. When we were home I put him in his room with the baby gate in the door way to keep the mess in one place! Good luck!

Get some cute baskets for the toys that stay, keep out the books- easy to pick up quickly and easy to pack! We are moving in a couple of months- I plan on being out of the house and enjoying the spring weather as much as possible!! Good luck!

Put toys in baskets that can easily be stashed away when people come for a showing. I also like the baby gate idea. Leave out the kids favorite toys and stash a second bucket of toys in the closet so you can switch it up when they get bored. Trips out are always good. A walk to our local park takes 3 hours out of our day when we pack a lunch to take. Outings are good for a clean house.
