Yep, I'm posting a Friday Favorite on a Saturday night. I'm a rebel. Here's our first harvest from our first successful attempt at gardening.
Our first tomato.
Plus, a little perspective. And a piece of taffy.
What are we going to do with it all?!
Actually, in about a month, I'm going to be very busy canning and freezing. But, there's just something about the smile on my girls faces when they eat a cherry tomato fresh from our garden. It's priceless.

There is absolutely NOTHING better than a fresh grown tomato! Of all stuff that tastes better than grocery store fuits and veggies, I swear it's the tomato that stands out!
good job!!
I'm so impressed!! Our tomato plants are so small, we'll probably be picking them for conference. At least they're still alive.

This has been the first year in many that we haven't grown tomatoes and I'm missing them! Can't get a flower grown in the back garden at all for all the veggies. But I adore the pop and crunch of homegrown cherry toms!
I had a post like that awhile back....such teeny tomatoes..but lots of flavor! We harvested a small bowlful every day.
