Tips for Selling Your House
Cook bacon. No really, if you cook bacon and the smell spreads through your entire house, because that's just what it does, you will definitely get a call for a showing the next day. And then people will really remember your house. You will be know in the real estate community as the Bacon House! At this point, I'll do whatever it takes! And I can only imagine what would happen if we cooked fish! Hmmm.....there's an idea......

When we were selling our first house, they told us to put cookies in the oven while we were showing it! I don't know if it helped sell it faster, but I had hot cookies to reward all of my cleaning!
I heard about the cookie thing too. My friend baked before her showings usually cookies but sometimes apple pie. I'm not sure it helped since the house was on the market for 4 months. It's worth a try just cook something you want to eat afterward.
It's funny that you guys mention cookies. I made the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies to get rid of the bacon smell and then set the plate of cookies out on the counter. No offers yet, but I'm not above bribery!
