Friday Favorite-These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

The winter blahs have hit hard around here. As in show no mercy, hard. So, in honor of thinking positively yada yada yada, I've decided to compile a list of some of the little things in life that I normally take so much pleasure in. Please feel free to add your own. Or tell me I'm crazy. I'm open to anything at this point. We're all about acceptance around here.

Therefore, I give you a bullet point list!
  • one of my babies, freshly bathed and in a clean white onsie
  • a brand new bar of soap
  • the smell of the dishwasher as it washes my dishes for me
  • a really, really good book
  • the perfect chocolate chip cookie
  • warm cement on bare feet in the summer
  • red headed babies, of course
  • CG
  • bedtime
  • a movie....in a theater....with grown ups, popcorn, drinks...
  • my aloe vera plant
  • any plant that I can keep alive, actually
  • footy jammies
  • Mountain Dew
  • freshly painted toe nails....especially red
  • clean sheets
  • the smell of clean laundry
  • holding hands
  • a new hair cut
  • Christmas lights
  • sleeping in
  • bubble baths
  • making bread
  • Bear Lake.....it may not be little, but it is a favorite
  • my new pink ipod
  • taking pictures
  • getting those pictures printed & in albums
  • folding clean baby laundry
  • talking to friends that are far away, but always in your heart
  • email
  • getting comments on my blog (I know! I'm so vain!)
  • hot chocolate
  • snow....before January because after that it's pointless
  • watching my girls dance
  • the smell of a new season coming
There are many, many more but that's all I can think of for now. If only I could smell the next season coming....

You forgot to add snuggling under one of your quilts on a winter day(then hiding with your kids under the quilt- which is hours of fun.)
Also taking pleasure in actually completing a craft project you planned and last but not least what about a grown up date night. A simple pleasure yet so wonderful! these are all on my list of things to try to enjoy this long weekend.

That is a lot to be thankful for! I think most people are more blessed than they realize.

Love the previous post about the bread. I am impressed with you domestic skills!
