We celebrated New Years like the average, every day American family. By painting our kitchen back-splash, of course! As soon as our Christmas decorations came down, I became obsessed with rearranging our front room furniture lay out which obviously leads to painting the kitchen back-splash, hallway and front room. Isn't the connection obvious? I thought so, too. But obsessions do get us places. I'll do a big 'ol post devoted entirely to our recent renovation projects soon with pictures and everything, including excessive details about our furniture lay out. But not today. Today, we review New Years'. Now that you know what we did New Years' Eve afternoon, I present to you our New Years' Eve night. In pictures!
We celebrate every New Years' with CG's family. It's mostly his immediate family which includes his siblings and their spouses and children. That's about 40 people, give or take a dozen when everyone is there. This year, his parents decided to take the late night breakfast party to Denny's. At 1o o'clock at night. There was a very large L-shaped table set up for us that went through the center of the restaurant. Here is half of the L. And my sister-in-law taking pictures.
We were missing a few, but we still filled up the restaurant pretty good. And! Our waitress was still smiling at the end of the night. Not bad. And now the pictures.....
Here's CG's mom
My brother-in-law having a blast!
